About Me

I am an experienced registered clinical psychologist with over 20 years of clinical experience
who speaks English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin). I have long track record of
serving patients with mental health problems in public hospitals and am skilled in assessing and
treating a wide variety of psychological problems of adolescents and adults. I value the
collaborative relationship with my clients and strive to build a therapeutic
atmosphere with mutual trust and acceptance. I flexibly apply state-of-the-art psychological
techniques in the personal situations of my clients and guide them to develop sustainable self-
help ability, manage the challenges they face and build a happy, fruitful, and meaningful life.

I have been trained in offering a wide array of therapies such as Motivational Interviewing,
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotion Focused
Therapy, Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy, EMDR, etc. and integrating various treatment techniques to work towards
managing the psychological problems you are facing. I am particularly skilled in identifying the
underlying causes of your problems and maximising treatment outcome through resolving
internal ambivalence and enhancing client motivation to change through the treatment.
