Dr Leffler offers a comprehensive and NICE-guidance based assessment and treatment plan that will be unique and tailored to your child and family.

Dr Leffler is an experienced consultant psychiatrist and sees children and adolescents from the age of 6 years old up until the age of 17 years.

Dr Leffler enjoys working holistically using the biopsychosocial model and can provide a comprehensive assessment and formulate a unique and tailored treatment plan.

Dr Leffler is highly respected by her colleagues and her gentle, warm and supportive manner can guide your child and family to better mental health.

What I offer

Dr Leffler is happy to have meetings with schools or other support networks around the child.

Dr Leffler often works together with other clinicians such as psychologists, therapists, family therapists and counsellors and often it is vital to support the child from a variety of angles.

Training & Qualifications:

Dr Leffler is a consultant psychiatrist with over 15 years of clinical experience. She currently works as an NHS consultant in Berkshire having completed her specialist training at the well-known and prestigious South West London and St Georges NHS Trust. In her day-to-day practice she enjoys integrating therapeutic and systemic techniques and strategies to support her families which include medication prescribing, psychoeducation, positive behavioural support, parenting techniques, stress reduction and lifestyle interventions.

Dr Leffler was awarded the Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2013 and is registered as a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist on the General Medical Council. Dr Leffler also has a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education and has published internationally. She has led numerous quality improvement projects and supervises and teaches junior colleagues as well as participating in research and managerial roles within her trust.
